Eisenhower Carlson Attorney Discusses Ramifications of Initiative 502 and Marijuana in the Workplace
Practice Areas:

On Friday, February 8, Eisenhower Carlson attorney Chrystina Solum presented to the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce’s annual WorkWell Awards on Initiative 502 and its implications for employers. Chrystina educated the attendees that they can still insist on drug-free workplaces, even with the recent legalization of recreational marijuana use because marijuana is still illegal under federal law and employers already ban a host of legal activities each day such as drinking on the job.  For more information on Initiative 502 and its implications on your business, please contact one of the attorneys in Eisenhower Carlson's Employment Law Group here.
